We went out for a morning of ice fishing even though it was going to rain a bit yesterday & ended up staying out all day. Fishing for bass, browns and brookies, we had more flags than we have had all winter!
We ended up catching 7 bass, all but two released unharmed. No trout but we're going back today for the morning...

There is something cool about watching a flag pop up out of the fog & knowing something is taking line!

Cap'n hate to be dumb but which Pleasant Pond? Sounds like a good trip regardless of where it was. I'm beginning to think this will be the first ice season in awhile that I will not see the ice, but there are still a couple of weekends left and more or less enough ice......One should not let work get in the way of their fishing the way I have this winter. All work and no play makes.........me grumpier than usual though the wife says she doubts that is possible.
